What you will do

• Build and maintain core shared services and internal tools that power user experiences for Taxfix and Steuerbot.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable backend systems and architecture to enable core functionality.
• Collaborate across teams to design and ship new features and share capabilities pragmatically.
• Contribute to the long-term technical direction of core backend services.
• Work across the stack, including occasional frontend development for internal tooling.
• Take ownership and remove blockers to ensure team focus and efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with a track record of building complex, scalable production systems.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language, with Go strongly preferred.
• Experience with API design, databases, cloud-based systems, and integrating diverse third-party APIs.
• Practical experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Deep commitment to code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code.
