What you will do

• Build and ship performant mobile features using React Native following clean-code principles.
• Implement connectivity modules for wearable sensors and devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and device SDKs.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, state management, and the implementation of offline-first patterns.
• Develop and maintain the Wear OS companion app using Kotlin.
• Ensure digital health products meet strict quality, accessibility, and security standards.
• Collaborate closely with UX Design, Backend Engineering, QA, and Product Management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile or frontend experience, with 2+ years of React Native in production.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and the modern React ecosystem (hooks, state management).
• Proven experience shipping apps on Android (iOS experience is a strong plus).
• Experience with mobile testing, CI/CD pipelines, and store distribution via Fastlane.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Professional written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin and Wear OS / Android Wearable APIs.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards like FHIR and OMOP.
• Experience working in staff-augmentation or embedded-consultant models.
• Spoken and written German.
