What you will do

• Develop and maintain the core AI engine, abstracting providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
• Build a reliable workflow runtime for complex agent steps, conditions, and human-in-the-loop pauses.
• Optimize context-window management to balance accuracy and cost.
• Create a secure, sandboxed code execution service for running untrusted customer code.
• Develop a flexible integration layer supporting REST APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Design clear APIs and data models to ensure shared systems are maintainable for other engineers.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience building high-load backend systems (queues, caches, databases, streaming pipelines).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js with a strong opinion on API design.
• Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Technical understanding of the LLM ecosystem (context windows, tool calling, streaming protocols).
• Proven habit of implementing metrics, traces, and structured logging.
• Security-first mindset with experience in multi-tenant data isolation.
