What you will do

• Commission systems in the field by optimizing settings for audio, video, displays, control, and networking.
• Collaborate with system programmers to load code, troubleshoot control systems remotely or onsite.
• Lead teams on large projects and provide simple code/touch panel updates under programmer direction.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, keep current on technology and firmware.
• Mentor other field engineers and provide remote support.

Requirements

• Live within New England territory and possess valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Five+ years experience as Field Engineer in AV installation/system design.
• AVIXA CTS Certification required; CTS-D/CTS-I preferred.
• Networking knowledge; DSP certification (Biamp, QSC, BSS); Crestron/Extron level one certification.
• Excellent verbal and written English; strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with audio, video, network-based systems; ability to lift 40lbs, climb ladders, use PPE on sites.

Nice to have

• ISF Certification for displays.
• Other relevant certifications based on technology focus.
