What you will do

• Define and document BMS control requirements and develop software features based on product needs.
• Create common control features using model-based development for various electrification architectures.
• Apply virtual product development (MIL/SIL simulations) for testing, optimization, and performance verification.
• Calibrate and validate BMS control features in lab and application environments, including providing on-site support.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams to implement robust BMS control strategies.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure system integration and validation of control strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (focus on Control Systems, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering).
• Extensive experience in software validation methodologies, including HIL, SIL, lab, and vehicle testing.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and exposure to embedded code.
• Hands-on experience with CAN Communication and the use of CANape.
• Knowledge of Lithium-Ion batteries and BMS control strategies.

• Prior experience or coursework in battery electric power systems.
• Experience with battery systems simulation.
