What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain Fortinet-based network fabric (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, SD-WAN, BGP, IPsec) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build self-service network primitives with guardrails to empower Product Engineers.
• Embed cybersecurity standards into IaC pipelines and partner with Security on threat modeling.
• Implement and maintain telemetry using Prometheus and Grafana for measurable reliability.
• Evaluate new tooling and evolve the platform to eliminate friction in the delivery process.
• Mentor team members to raise the bar on automation, security, and reliability standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in network engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a platform or IaC-oriented role.
• Deep expertise in Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiSwitch) and strong knowledge of WAN/SD-WAN, BGP, and IPsec.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for network and systems automation.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go scripting for network tooling.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD and GitOps (Git, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).

Nice to have

• Fortinet NSE 7 certification (NSE 4 is required).
