TL;DR

Project Manager, Communications & Business Process Improvement (IT Operations): Managing IT's communications portfolio and business process improvement activities with an accent on departmental communications, rhythm of business, and operational efficiency. Focus on executing content strategies, coordinating high-level events, and optimizing internal knowledge management systems.

Location: Seattle, WA. Must have unrestricted work authorization in the USA; relocation will not be provided.

Salary: $130,000 – $195,000 USD

What you will do

  • Develop and operationalize the departmental communications model, including content strategy and editorial calendars.
  • Lead the production of the annual report and monthly newsletters for executive and organizational audiences.
  • Manage the IT Rhythm of Business (RoB) calendar and coordinate end-to-end department-wide events.
  • Maintain and iterate on SharePoint sites, knowledge management resources, and employee onboarding processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across shared workflows and tools.
  • Support quarterly culture surveys and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) programming.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting executive-level reports and newsletters.
  • Experience managing editorial calendars, content strategy, and channel governance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, specifically SharePoint site creation.
  • Unrestricted work authorization in the USA (no immigration sponsorship provided).
  • Proven ability to lead diverse groups both in person and virtually.

Nice to have

  • Graphic design experience using Adobe Express or similar tools.
  • Experience creating or editing video content for organizational audiences.
  • Familiarity with human-centered design or similar facilitation methods.
  • Experience with Airtable or comparable work management tools.
