What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures under supervision.
• Apply US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC) with focus on wind and seismic loads.
• Own assigned scope, ensure accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and on-schedule delivery.
• Collaborate with designers and other disciplines for 2D/3D integration.
• Conduct field inspections to verify conditions and installations.
• Perform QA/QC through self-checks and peer reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis); Master’s preferred
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required
• Minimum 2 years professional structural engineering experience
• Hands-on with US codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC
• Experience with analysis software (e.g., STAAD), Navisworks, Bluebeam preferred
• Physical ability for field walks, ladders, confined spaces, and extended standing
• Strong communication for technical coordination
