What you will do

• Deliver production objectives and make critical quality decisions during shifts.
• Execute shift operations plans focusing on ware movement and production priorities.
• Manage staffing resources and the MRR queue to optimize operations.
• Track, evaluate, and develop the performance of individual operators.
• Lead plant evacuation efforts and serve as a first responder on the site spill team.
• Ensure all products meet the Plant’s Quality Management Systems and ISO14001 guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Claremont, NC
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required); AS Degree (preferred).
• At least two years of progressive management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Management experience within the optical fiber cabling industry (preferred).
• Basic computer skills and strong verbal/written communication.
