Location: Hybrid in Burnaby, BC, Canada (in-office expectation of at least 50% of the time monthly)
Salary: $132,000 – $165,000

What you will do
- Implement and maintain ML models across the full lifecycle from data exploration and feature engineering to deployment.
- Design and scale feature pipelines for batch and real-time ML applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product owners to transform prototypes into reliable, customer-facing ML systems.
- Optimize models and pipelines using MLOps best practices, including automated retraining, drift detection, and CI/CD.
- Contribute to technical discussions and design reviews to improve team practices and system architecture.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience delivering Machine Learning systems in production.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Scala, or a similar language.
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, and numpy.
- Experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Burnaby, BC.
Nice to have
- Experience with Deep Learning algorithms or Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of Causal Inference, Personalization, or Knowledge Graphs.
- Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
