What you will do

• Pitch and develop interactive AI characters and execute the overall game vision.
• Act as the primary owner of AI and combat implementation within cross-disciplinary pods.
• Develop and iterate on working prototypes of AI and combat scenarios.
• Maintain and tune combat AI behavior and parameters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create detailed design documentation and communicate AI standards to content developers.
• Collaborate daily across development sites in Novato and Montreal.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in video game design.
• Proven track record of shipping at least one AAA title as a designer responsible for AI combatants.
• Deep understanding of game mechanics, combat systems, and AI NPC design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard game development tools, pipelines, and workflows.
• Proficiency in French and English (required for candidates located in Quebec).
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively in multi-site, cross-disciplinary team settings.
