What you will do

• Pitch and develop interactive AI characters to execute the game's creative vision.
• Act as the primary owner of AI and combat implementation within cross-disciplinary pods.
• Develop and iterate on working prototypes for AI and combat scenarios.
• Maintain and tune combat AI behavior and parameters through project completion.
• Create detailed design documentation and communicate standards to content developers.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across Montreal and Novato sites.

Requirements

• Shipped at least one AAA title as a designer responsible for AI combatants.
• 5+ years of professional experience in video game design.
• Deep understanding of game mechanics, combat systems, and AI NPC design.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine and industry-standard game development toolsets.
• English proficiency required to effectively collaborate with US-based teams.
• French proficiency required for candidates based in Quebec.
