Quality Analyst (Public Sector)

What you will do

• Lead and support QA activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop and agree upon clear acceptance criteria within scrum teams.
• Write, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on user stories and functional specifications.
• Perform regression, performance, and validation testing, including backend integrations like eligibility engines.
• Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with relevant policies.
• Log detailed bug reports with reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in manual software testing.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, including manual, automated, integration, and performance testing.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must reside in one of the specified US states (e.g., CA, NY, TX, FL, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills in problem solving and risk evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience testing mobile-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with public sector systems and federal/state benefit programs.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as LoadRunner.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience within QA teams.
• Understanding of Agile development processes.
