What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, resilient microservices using Java and Spring Boot applying domain-driven design (DDD) principles.
• Architect complex ETL/ELT workflows using Spring Batch, implementing job partitioning and multi-threaded steps for high-volume data ingestion.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs utilizing Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT to facilitate seamless data exchange.
• Build event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ for real-time data triggers and asynchronous communication.
• Optimize database schemas and perform performance tuning and indexing strategies to handle large-scale datasets.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java (8+), Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Proven track record of building production-grade ETL pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers (Kafka preferred) and Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
• Solid understanding of API security best practices (OWASP) and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Must be located in or able to work from Dallas, TX, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
