Software Developer (Fullstack)

Location: Must be able to work in-person from a hirify.global office in Kitchener, Ontario

Salary: $960 — $1,440 CAD per week

hirify.global is a cloud company modernizing education through its Brightspace platform to provide personalized, student-centric learning experiences globally.

What you will do

• Contribute to real product deliverables for the Brightspace platform, impacting over 15 million learners daily.
• Develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant backend systems using the .NET stack.
• Build cloud-native services on AWS utilizing Node, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, and DynamoDB.
• Create engaging and responsive web applications using Polymer and other modern web frameworks.
• Develop native mobile applications using Kotlin and Swift.
• Collaborate with a mentor and an agile team to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field).
• Must not graduate prior to the start of the co-op role.
• Must be able to work in-person from a hirify.global office in Kitchener, Ontario.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
• Strong entrepreneurial drive and ability to function effectively in both independent and team settings.
