Cybersecurity Software Engineer

TL;DR

Cybersecurity Software Engineer (React/Next.js): Developing enterprise cybersecurity applications to strengthen security posture, mitigate cyber risks, and protect sensitive data with an accent on secure architecture design, full stack development, and cloud-native deployment. Focus on building scalable secure apps, implementing APIs and integrations, and managing Kubernetes deployments.

3 days onsite / 2 days remote (no fully remote option) in Charlotte, NC; Irving, TX; or Minneapolis, MN

What you will do

• Lead architectural design and development of cybersecurity applications
• Build scalable secure apps using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Develop APIs and integrations with GraphQL, MongoDB, and SQL
• Implement secure coding practices and collaborate on risk mitigation
• Support CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Deploy and manage apps in Kubernetes using YAML/TOML
• Review enterprise solutions, develop standards, and mentor team members

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience (or equivalent work/training/military/education)
• 3+ years hands-on with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js
• Experience with cloud technologies, GCP, MongoDB, OCP/Autosys, Nomad
• Cybersecurity experience required
• Must work 3 days onsite / 2 days remote in specified US locations (Charlotte NC, Irving TX, Minneapolis MN)

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js, secure coding tools (Black Duck, Checkmarx)
• Artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus), strong MongoDB/SQL/GraphQL
• Kubernetes admin, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), npm/Yarn
• Python, Java, large datasets, networking, system admin
• Exposure to Go, Rust, C/C++, Harness, enterprise UI libraries (Kendo React)
