I&C Meter Technician - Surrey

TL;DR

I&C Meter Technician (Surrey): Install, commission, configure, and maintain complex electricity meters including whole current, LV, and HV CTO systems with an accent on on-site safety, quality, and customer service. Location: Must live within UK postcodes GU, RH, BN (Surrey area) and be willing to travel and stay overnight across the UK when required.

What you will do

• Deliver high levels of on-site safety, quality, and customer service during meter works.
• Install, commission, and configure all types of electric meters up to your permit level.
• Install and replace metering communication equipment.
• Record details of all works accurately, including reasons for incomplete jobs.
• Conduct on-site inspections, fault diagnosis, and rectifications where safe.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months holding single and 3-phase electric metering PTO.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight across the UK.
• Live within postcodes GU, RH, BN.
• Knowledge of single and three-phase domestic/commercial electrical installations.
• Full valid UK/EU driving licence (max 6 points).
• Basic computer skills and good customer service/communication abilities.
