What you will do

• Lead requirements analysis, solution design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of scalable streaming platform modules for near real-time data solutions.
• Translate business needs into optimized data models for big data.
• Identify and optimize slow queries for better performance.
• Write clean, scalable code using Scala/Python/SQL, test, and deploy applications.
• Solve complex real-time data challenges using optimal architectures and frameworks.
• Contribute to product/platform optimization, monitoring, and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science or mathematics).
• 3+ years experience with near real-time analytics.
• 5+ years experience with modern programming languages such as Scala, Python, Go, Typescript.
• Experience designing complex data processing pipelines.
• Experience with data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling etc.) in AWS Redshift.
• Experience with query optimization and shipping code to production.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka.
