TL;DR

Head of Analytics (SaaS/Marketplace): Leading the analytics function and BI tooling to drive metrics across sales, retention, and growth with an accent on cross-functional strategic partnership. Focus on implementing AI-powered analytics workflows and driving actual business change through data-driven insights.

Location: Based in London (4 days per week in office)

Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 a year

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, optimizing workflows and professional development.
  • Define the strategy for BI tooling, including notebooks, chatbots, and the broader analytics stack.
  • Execute analytics programs across core domains: sales, retention, growth, and payments.
  • Establish scalable data foundations, clear definitions, and self-serve tooling for the organization.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Sales, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams to drive strategic changes.
  • Integrate AI tooling to scale analytics capabilities across the business.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketplace, payments, or vertical SaaS at a high-growth tech company.
  • Proven track record of coaching and mentoring data or strategy teams.
  • Deep understanding of commercial and financial metrics for SaaS and marketplace models.
  • Experience running complex change programs and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Foundational knowledge of data platform architecture, pipelines, and data quality.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tooling in analytics workflows.

Nice to have

  • Experience with dbt, Plotly, and Snowflake.
  • Product analytics and experimentation skills with Amplitude or similar.
  • Knowledge of MarTech and Fintech/Payments.
