What you will do

• Conduct economic and financial analysis regarding energy markets, regulation, pricing, and competition.
• Support the development of expert reports, testimony, and litigation materials for arbitration and high-stakes disputes.
• Build and maintain market models, forecasting tools, and valuation frameworks.
• Evaluate commercial contracts, pricing mechanisms, and damages claims.
• Synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear presentations for clients and legal counsel.
• Research energy policy, regulatory developments, and market trends to provide written summaries and memos.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools such as Stata, R, or Python.
• Must be based in the Washington, DC area.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated interest in energy transition and energy market dynamics.
