Middle Site Reliability Engineer (CDN & DevOps): Manage and improve CDN configurations with Fastly and Varnish VCL across a globally distributed edge infrastructure with an accent on caching rules, redirects, and traffic routing. Focus on triaging production issues through log analysis, building GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and partnering with development teams across US and EU time zones.

What you will do

• Manage and improve CDN configurations including caching rules, redirects, and traffic routing
• Triage production issues via log analysis and performance investigations for high-traffic events
• Review merge requests and advise on cache behavior and edge performance
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for CDN changes
• Partner with US and EU development teams to onboard services behind the CDN
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, monitoring, and alerting for edge traffic

Requirements

• Upper Intermediate English with strong communication skills for distributed team
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Web Operations
• Hands-on experience with public CDNs (Fastly, Varnish, Cloudflare, Akamai) including cache and routing rules
• Strong HTTP fundamentals: cache headers, redirects, surrogate keys, purge strategies
• GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Linux administration
• Scripting in Python or Bash

Nice to have

• CDN operations for high-traffic, event-driven, or live streaming
• Kubernetes knowledge for service manifests
• AWS infrastructure and network protocols (TCP, TLS, DNS)
