TL;DR

Java Software Developer (Fintech): Developing high-throughput, low-latency frameworks for financial products with an accent on model-driven development and full product lifecycle management. Location: Hybrid (Vilnius, Lithuania), requiring at least 3 days a week in-office

What you will do

  • Work in cross-functional Scrum teams spanning analysis, development, and testing.
  • Contribute across the full product lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with multiple customers to deliver features and improve system performance.
  • Apply advanced engineering and model-driven development techniques to long-term products.
  • Build and optimize high-throughput, low-latency frameworks.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in developing Java applications.
  • Proficiency with Java 11, Dependency Injection, and REST/SOAP web services.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with ORM tools.
  • Practical experience with Git and Maven.
  • Must have no previous unspent convictions for criminal offences under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the financial industry (banking, accounting, trading, clearing).
  • Familiarity with Wildfly/RedHat EAP and Message-Oriented Middleware (e.g., ActiveMQ).
  • Experience with JIRA and TeamCity.
