DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (Cloud Security): Develop, scale, and maintain infrastructure for key management and encryption solutions with an accent on automation, configuration management, and high availability. Focus on implementing CI/CD pipelines, incident response, and performance optimization in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Location: Remote (Mauritius). This role is strictly based in Mauritius. Only candidates currently residing in Mauritius will be considered. Applications from outside Mauritius will not be reviewed.

What you will do

• Develop, scale, and maintain infrastructure using automation and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to design and implement robust, scalable services.
• Monitor service health, respond to incidents, and ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for efficient deployments.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventative measures.
• Optimize system performance and apply capacity planning techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of security landscape including cloud/infrastructure security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of configuration management (Terraform, Helm) and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR) and CI/CD methodologies.
• Problem-solving mindset focused on reliability and availability.
