Senior Software Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET): Developing new software features for Wet Wafer processing systems in semiconductor manufacturing with an accent on front-end/back-end development and integration with electro/mechanical systems. Focus on coding complex applications, device communication protocols, database management, and ensuring scalability and reliability for production equipment.

Location: Horsham, PA (report onsite 3-5 days per week)

Salary: $147,459—$216,273 plus bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Develop and maintain VB6/C#/.NET software for controlling complex Wet Wafer processing equipment.
• Lead requirements gathering, design, implementation, debugging, and integration of new features.
• Create test procedures, perform software testing, and support manufacturing build processes.
• Translate electrical/plumbing schematics into configuration files and improve automation templates.
• Diagnose Windows OS issues, support field service, and occasionally travel to customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Software Engineering/Computer Science + 8 years experience (or advanced degree + 6 years)
• Experience in C#.NET and WPF development.
• Device communication over serial/TCP/IP and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of full software lifecycle, Agile/SCRUM, and Windows OS.
• Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills

• Experience with industrial machinery/robotics.
• Semiconductor industry background.
