Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (C#/.NET): Developing new software features and control systems for Wet Wafer processing equipment in the semiconductor industry with an accent on VB6/C#/.NET coding, device interfacing over serial/TCP/IP, and configuration files. Focus on debugging complex applications, Agile/SCRUM development, testing new releases, and supporting manufacturing builds.

Location: Onsite 3-5 days per week in Horsham, PA, US

Salary: $96,849—$142,044 plus bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Develop and support VB6/C#/.NET software for control systems, including coding, debugging, and testing.
• Contribute to new software releases based on specifications, including documentation and test procedures.
• Translate electrical/plumbing schematics into configuration files and improve semi-automated templates.
• Support manufacturing during machine build/setup and assist Field Service with customer issues.
• Image, configure, and troubleshoot Windows PCs for product lines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Field Service, Technical Support, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field + minimum 2 years related experience (or advanced degree with no experience)
• Experience in software development lifecycle for critical applications
• Knowledge of device communication protocols (serial, TCP/IP)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to work onsite 3-5 days/week in Horsham, PA

Nice to have

• Experience programming in C#.NET, WPF
• Experience operating industrial machinery/robotics
• Occasional travel to customer/supplier sites
