What you will do
- Lead the QA team in project estimation, requirements analysis, and the triage of reported defects.
- Establish and refine quality assurance procedures, standards, and test coverage strategies to ensure product reliability.
- Develop and implement test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Manage testing activities within CI/CD environments including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Mentor, recruit, and manage the performance of QA engineers, tracking key KPIs like defect escape rate and MTTR.
- Research and integrate emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage and future-proof operations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience leading QA teams for web-based enterprise applications.
- Expertise in automation strategies (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Hands-on experience with API, performance, and security testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and risk-based testing approaches.
- Must be based in Metro Manila, Philippines to support a hybrid work arrangement.
