What you will do

• Design and implement a PHY validation framework focused on automation, scalability, and modularity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, and test engineering) to define validation goals and automation strategies.
• Develop test infrastructure and automation tools for efficient and repeatable validation workflows.
• Integrate DUTs, measurement instruments, and data acquisition systems into the validation framework.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and automated reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and define best practices in software engineering and validation methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS or EE with 5+ years of experience, or Master's with 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or C# with strong understanding of software design principles.
• Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks or validation infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PHY layer concepts (SERDES, USB, PCIe, Ethernet) and validation workflows.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and issue tracking (Jira).
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, etc.) and API integration via SCPI, VISA, or gRPC.

Nice to have

• Experience developing test automation systems specifically in hardware validation or lab environments.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Pandas, NumPy, or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with hardware bring-up, signal integrity, or post-silicon validation.
