What you will do
- Provide cardiology expertise to pharmaceutical sponsors regarding protocol design, cardiac safety strategies, and expert report writing.
- Serve as a medical liaison across internal departments to support cardiac solutions and compliance strategies.
- Interpret ECGs, Holters, patch devices, and stress tests, ensuring QA/QC of endpoint data.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and SOPs, including Cardiology Review Guidelines.
- Support sales and business development by contributing scientific and clinical expertise to prospective studies.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities and contribute to statistical innovation in cardiac research.
Requirements
- MD degree and ABIM Board Certification required.
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is required for U.S.-based candidates.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a cardiologist or consultant, particularly in early-phase development.
- 5+ years of clinical cardiology and electrocardiography experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ICH E14 guidance and experience authoring reports for QT waivers.
- Must be based in the United States.
