What you will do

• Architect, build, and refine hirify.global's native Android application and supporting mobile web-views.
• Integrate biometric authentication (fingerprint, face unlock) and passkey functionalities to enhance security.
• Implement secure coding practices to protect user data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and infrastructure teams to prototype and launch scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers to strengthen the overall mobile engineering team.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in mobile software engineering.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in Kotlin Android development.
• Strong proficiency with GraphQL and MVVM architecture.
• Experience implementing BiometricPrompt API and passkey solutions (FIDO2/WebAuthn).
• Experience with Android testing frameworks and best practices.
• Must be based in the US (specifically SF, Seattle, NY, or Denver) to meet hybrid work requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Android Keystore system, encrypted shared preferences, and secure networking.
• Prior experience in a security-focused role or on security-related projects.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, automated test environments, and build/release systems.
• Experience with analytics and monitoring tools.
