What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction, defining platform standards for scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
• Design and evolve cloud-native distributed systems, solving complex problems across multiple subsystems.
• Drive cross-team alignment on architecture patterns and engineering best practices.
• Review and guide designs and implementations for critical high-impact initiatives.
• Partner with product management to influence technical roadmaps and platform strategy.
• Reduce technical debt through refactoring and modernization efforts, champion cloud optimization.

Requirements

• Hybrid workplace in Dallas, Texas, United States; US work authorization required (E-Verify employer).
• Professional software development experience with sustained technical leadership.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience designing cloud-native, distributed, highly scalable systems; strong software architecture knowledge.
• Production-scale experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge of microservices, APIs, integration patterns, CI/CD, DevOps, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Experience influencing technical decisions across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience building enterprise platforms or developer frameworks.
• Focus on developer experience, extensibility, and platform usability.
• Observability, SRE practices, and production operations at scale.
• Background in multi-tenant SaaS and enterprise product development.
• Experience defining long-term technical strategy.
