What you will do

• Provide in-depth technical troubleshooting and recommend solutions for all hirify.global product lines and open-source PostgreSQL products.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior and mid-tier support engineers to triage issues and create reproducible test cases.
• Partner with Development resources and PostgreSQL community contributors to identify bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for premium customers on priority engagements.
• Manage and drive solutions for escalated technical issues.
• Document solutions, procedures, and standards for both customers and internal use.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a computer-related occupation.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, SQL, bash scripting, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), RDS, and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Oracle and MongoDB.
