Production Manager (Chemicals)

Salary: EUR 68.600 - 103.400 annually (incl. holiday allowance), depending on experience

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily and long-term salt production to meet volume targets, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams, ensuring staffing, shift planning, competencies, and a culture of safety and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, HSE standards including risk assessments, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance for high plant availability, supporting preventive and corrective activities.
• Monitor KPIs, control costs, drive Lean, OEE, Six Sigma initiatives, and provide reporting and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Production, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in salt, minerals, food, or bulk commodities.
• Proven leadership experience in a production or operations management role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement, and HSE standards.
