Lab Technician (Semiconductors)

Lab Technician (Semiconductors): Keep the Intrinsic Reliability lab running by maintaining and calibrating tools, managing documentation, bookings, stock, and supporting scripted measurements on a wafer prober with an accent on safety protocols, inventory control, and audit readiness. Focus on coordinating vendors, training users, capturing issues, and driving small continuous improvements.

Location: Nijmegen, Netherlands (onsite, full-time)

What you will do

• Maintain and calibrate lab tools, track due dates, and log service history.
• Create and update safety protocols, tool manuals, and quick-start guides.
• Administer tool reservations, user access, and qualifications.
• Monitor inventory, manage purchase requisitions, and verify deliveries.
• Keep lab audit-ready with ESD checks, housekeeping, and clear labeling.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for repairs, utilities, and inspections.
• Run scripted IV/CV/parametric measurements on wafer prober and log data.
• Train users on safety and reservation rules; drive improvements and report KPIs.

Requirements

• MBO/HBO (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics.
• 1–3 years in a lab/test/production environment.
• Basic familiarity with SMUs/parametric analyzers, probe stations/wafer probers.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and follow safety protocols precisely.
• Comfortable with Excel and collaboration tools (SharePoint/Teams).
• Knowledge of ESD.
• Service-minded, organized, detail-driven team player with strong communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with IR tests (wafer level reliability) and burn-in fixtures.
• Basic scripting (Python/LabVIEW) and instrument I/O (GPIB/VISA).
• Cleanroom etiquette; ESD/BHV certifications.
