What you will do
- Monitor anti-abuse signals and logs to identify threats and recommend mitigations.
- Investigate compliance events and perform triage to determine scope, urgency, and impact.
- Partner with Engineering and Security to tune signals and improve sending infrastructure.
- Implement AI-driven workflows to automate detection and operational processes.
- Collaborate with R&D, Deliverability, and external vendors to manage the abuse ecosystem.
- Document runbooks, case notes, and share knowledge through internal guides.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a technical SaaS company, anti-abuse, or trust & safety role.
- Proficiency in data analysis and SQL or equivalent query experience.
- AI fluency and experience using LLMs to accelerate investigations and summarize incidents.
- Hands-on experience with anti-abuse tools like Sift, Stripe Radar, or eHawk.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, messaging compliance (Email/SMS), and global regulations.
- Familiarity with log analysis tools like Splunk or Datadog.
Nice to have
- Active participation in anti-abuse industry groups like M3AAWG.
- Python, pandas, or BI tool experience (Looker, Tableau) for deeper data analysis.
- Experience with SMS/MMS technologies, technical writing, or web development.
- Proficiency with workflow automation tools like Zapier.
