What you will do

• Build and optimize data solutions using Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake.
• Manage and continuously improve a centralized data ingestion framework.
• Design and maintain end-to-end data ingestion pipelines.
• Troubleshoot data quality incidents and implement monitoring solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new Databricks features to expand platform capabilities.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and analysis.
• Practical experience with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Spark SQL.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling fundamentals.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably MS Azure.

Nice to have

• Experience with HashiCorp Terraform.
• Knowledge of DataOps/MLOps practices and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools.
• German language skills.
