What you will do

• Manage day-to-day performance of finance admin teams across agencies, owning SLAs, processing accuracy, and arrears.
• Implement strong QA processes and exception tracking to drive payment processing errors toward zero.
• Lead, coach, and develop a scalable team of 20-30+ coordinators and finance admins across multiple locations.
• Act as the first point of escalation for complex payment issues, landlord/tenant disputes, and bank discrepancies.
• Partner with the Head of Payments to translate operational gaps into new automation products and SOPs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payments or finance operations at scale.
• Direct line management experience of 20-30+ people, ideally across multiple sites.
• Proven track record of managing teams against SLAs using dashboards and clear KPIs.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and BI skills.
• Experience in fast-growing, operationally intensive environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in lettings, property management, or other regulated client-money environments.
• Transferable experience from fintech operations, payroll, or shared services finance.
• AAT / ACCA / CIMA qualification (part-qualified or qualified).
• Exposure to RPA, low-code tools, or scripting for automation initiatives.
