Corporate Security Manager (m/f/d) (Aerospace)

Location: Augsburg, Germany, with mobile working according to the area of responsibility; the company also operates at a launch site in Kourou, French Guiana.

International aerospace manufacturing business developing and producing metal and fiber-composite components for launcher programs, spacecraft, satellites, aircraft, and defense applications.

What you will do

• Establish, maintain, and implement measures protecting security-relevant information.
• Coordinate and design holistic strategic security solutions independently.
• Review project-specific contractual requirements covering physical, personnel, and information security.
• Coordinate security activities with corporate security, information security, project management, and other stakeholders.
• Advise the management board and senior executives on complex contractual security requirements.
• Plan, implement, monitor, and audit measures protecting national and international information and defined IT networks.

Requirements

• Degree in risk and security management, information security, or a comparable field.
• Relevant professional experience in corporate security or information security.
• Knowledge of BSI technical guidelines and BSI Basic Protection is advantageous.
• Practical knowledge of project-specific security requirements from the EU, ESA, or other international institutions is desirable.
• Strong interdisciplinary thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, reliability, and sense of responsibility.
• Strong cooperation and teamwork skills.
