TL;DR
Security Software Engineer / Architect (Python/Cybersecurity): Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions for vulnerability management, automation, reporting, and cybersecurity operations with an accent on software architecture, full-stack development, and secure engineering practices. Focus on building RESTful services, managing complex databases and CI/CD infrastructure, and automating cybersecurity processes.
Location: Onsite in Weßling-Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany
Duration: 12 months

What you will do
- Design, develop, implement, and test software supporting vulnerability management, automation, reporting, and cybersecurity operations.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions and define technical solutions aligned with project requirements.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation through deployment and maintenance.
- Guide and mentor software development team members on architecture, development practices, and technical approaches.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security Managers and Team Leads to align solutions with customer needs and cybersecurity requirements.
- Maintain architecture, coding standards, project, and operational documentation while improving processes through automation.
Requirements
- University degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT Security, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or software architecture.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, full-stack development, object-oriented programming, Agile, TDD, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and containerization.
- Advanced Python skills, including Django, FastAPI, or Flask, as well as pandas and NumPy.
- Experience with complex database design and management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, Git, GitLab CI/CD, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bash, PowerShell, and Linux/Windows server administration.
Nice to have
- Experience in cybersecurity architecture, vulnerability management, or security monitoring environments.
