What you will do

• Design and implement new functionalities for a real-time threat detection platform.
• Build and extend streaming pipelines using Apache Flink and Flink SQL, with critical components in Java Datastream API.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production-grade distributed systems to ensure stability.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and develop proof-of-concepts for specific use cases.
• Contribute to internal tools for managing Flink SQL jobs and engage with open-source projects.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink and Flink SQL.
• Solid proficiency in Java, particularly for distributed and streaming systems.
• Experience working with Apache Kafka and Kubernetes, including the Flink Kubernetes Operator.
• Familiarity with pyFlink.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance software delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native environments, specifically AWS.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Neo4j.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack.
