What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain core software components end-to-end in Scrum teams.
• Own delivery of initiatives, ensure quality through engineering practices, and drive product improvements including AI agents.
• Lead architectural decisions balancing business goals, delivery, and sustainability.
• Engage with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and translate technical concepts.
• Mentor team members and optionally grow into leadership roles.

Requirements

• 6+ years professional software engineering experience with proven ownership of complex solutions and technical leadership.
• In-depth Java knowledge; experience with Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka, Azure.
• Strong software architecture understanding; cloud-native a plus.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German a plus.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in computer science or related field.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude Code).

Nice to have

• Experience developing AI agents.
• German language skills.
