Software Engineer - Platform / Core Infrastructure (Fintech)

Location: 4 days a week on site in London

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum

What you will do

• Build and improve a self-service internal platform used by multiple engineering teams.
• Enhance Developer Experience (DevEx) by simplifying workflows and reducing cognitive load.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and tooling.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Support scalable, secure, and reliable platform architecture.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve platform pain points.

Requirements

• Experience as a Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
• Proficiency with Golang.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
