TL;DR
Software Engineer (Platform/Core Infrastructure): Building and optimizing the internal developer platform for a scaling fintech with an accent on developer experience and automation. Focus on creating self-service tooling, streamlining CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure to reduce engineering friction.
Location: 4 days a week on site in London
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum

What you will do
- Build and improve a self-service internal platform used by multiple engineering teams.
- Enhance Developer Experience (DevEx) by simplifying workflows and reducing cognitive load.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and tooling.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Support scalable, secure, and reliable platform architecture.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve platform pain points.
Requirements
- Experience as a Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
- Proficiency with Golang.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
