What you will do

• Perform nucleic acid extraction from various samples (FFPE, blood, plasma) in a BSL-2 laboratory.
• Quantify extracted materials and prepare libraries using automated and manual procedures.
• Manage sample processing workflows in real-time via Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Maintain robotic liquid handlers and other lab instrumentation for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with automation and support teams to troubleshoot and evaluate systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with laboratory quality control procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a biological discipline.
• 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am) in Fremont, CA.
• Familiarity with QC quantification devices (e.g., TapeStation, Qubit, qPCR).
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hamilton or other robotic liquid handlers.
• Familiarity with LIMS or sample management tracking systems.
