Knowledge Engineer

TL;DR

Knowledge Engineer (Manufacturing Software): Developing, maintaining, and testing complex product knowledge bases for sales of manufactured products with an accent on business rules, pricing, and selling processes. Focus on analyzing customer requirements, designing solutions, and providing subject matter expertise during implementations.

Remote, US only. Standard working hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time (ET). Some travel required.

What you will do

• Provide excellent customer service and support as part of the Professional Services team
• Execute project implementations, review business requirements, and evaluate solution objectives
• Write detailed steps to develop or modify applications and lead implementation activities
• Conduct meetings with customers, input issues into tracking systems, and collaborate with internal teams
• Communicate with Product Development for technical support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related major
• Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and technical background, excellent problem-solving, research, and leadership skills
• Highly organized, work well under pressure, independently and collaboratively
• Some travel is required
