What you will do

• Prepare high-precision drawings or computer models of unusual, complex, or original designs.
• Ensure anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are resolved via produced drawings.
• Exercise independent judgment in selecting and interpreting data based on design intent.
• Interpret general designs to complete minor details.
• Provide advice and guidance to lower-level drafters and coordinate large, complex drafting projects.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance (Top Secret eligibility preferred).
• Located in San Diego, California.
• 7 years of professional experience preparing complex, high-precision drawings.
• HSD or GED with 5-7 years relevant experience, or technical school/associate's degree in Drafting, Illustrating, or Graphic Arts with 3-5 years experience.
