System Engineer (IoT)

What you will do

• Drive system architecture for IoT products in LV/HV environments, defining concepts, scenarios, and criteria.
• Apply structured processes for requirements, architecture, integration, risk management, and verification.
• Manage requirements traceability, artefacts like diagrams and ICDs, and constraints like cybersecurity and manufacturability.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for interfaces, integration, prototyping, and root cause analysis.
• Develop verification/validation plans covering functional, environmental, EMC/EMI, and safety tests.
• Collaborate with cloud, manufacturing, and field teams for end-to-end alignment and deployment readiness.

Requirements

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or similar.
• Proven experience delivering physical IoT devices integrating electronics, sensors, embedded firmware, and mechanical components.
• Experience with low voltage systems, high voltage systems, or both, ideally in energy sector.
• Strong understanding of system lifecycle processes: requirements analysis, architecture, integration, verification, validation, risk management.
• Deep knowledge of embedded/real-time systems, microcontrollers, sensor chains, power systems, hardware-software interactions.
• Experience defining complex hardware-software interfaces in LV/HV contexts; familiarity with IoT communication technologies.
• Ability to perform trade studies, failure analysis; produce artefacts like diagrams, models, documentation; Agile/hybrid experience.
