What you will do

• Develop and maintain connectivity across Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Thread, Zigbee, and BLE.
• Optimize secure device messaging using protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, or WebSockets.
• Implement secure boot flows, key/certificate provisioning, and hardware-backed identity using TPMs.
• Build and maintain signed firmware update pipelines, including OTA updates and rollback mechanisms.
• Integrate devices with cloud IoT platforms and define telemetry, health monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and software teams to deliver production-ready connected devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience building connected embedded products.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and RTOS environments (Zephyr or FreeRTOS).
• Experience with Python for testing, tooling, or automation.
• Solid understanding of IP networking and common transport/application protocols.
• Experience implementing secure device communications using TLS, certificates, or provisioning workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-power wireless technologies (Thread, Zigbee, BLE).
• Familiarity with cloud IoT services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to secure boot, TPMs, secure elements, or hardware attestation.
• Experience with EMC/RF testing or factory test processes.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443 or ISO 27001.
