Facility Security Officer (National Security)

What you will do

• Manage and maintain the company’s Facility Clearance (FCL) in full compliance with U.S. government security regulations.
• Initiate, process, and manage employee Personnel Security Clearances (PCLs), ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.
• Deliver security education and training programs to employees regarding the safeguarding of classified information.
• Conduct required FCL self-inspections and implement corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for government security representatives, auditors, and external vendors.
• Oversee daily office operations, including access control, visitor coordination, and the proper destruction of classified materials.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing FCL requirements in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, psychology, sociology, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of NISPOM, DoD security guidance, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active Secret National Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret National Security Clearance.
• Active-duty military experience.
• Previous experience managing secure spaces.
