Animator (Game Development)

Location: Onsite at the Reno, Nevada office; not remote-eligible. Applicants may already live in the Reno area or be willing to relocate to the United States.

Salary: $114,500–$141,400 annually, with potential adjustment based on qualifications and location.

What you will do

• Create animations and visual effects for real-time and pre-rendered gameplay.
• Develop storyboards, animatics, and gameplay sequences that enhance player engagement.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and artists to execute the creative vision.
• Animate complex game mechanics, including bonuses, jackpots, and feature events.
• Playtest, iterate, and refine animations through feedback and hands-on problem solving.
• Explore new techniques, tools, and workflows to improve visual quality.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of game development experience.
• Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating animation, timing, and visual storytelling.
• Expertise with 2D/3D tools such as After Effects, Spine, Maya, or Blender.
• Experience creating animations in Unity or another real-time engine.
• Strong understanding of motion, composition, and player-driven animation design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and give and receive creative feedback.
