Engineering Team Lead (Fullstack): Leading a software development team to shape the ScriptRunner for Confluence Cloud product with an accent on continuous delivery, mentoring, and solution design. Location: Remote-first, but candidates must be GTA-based (Canada) to accommodate occasional in-person needs at the Toronto office.

Salary: $150,000–180,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead a software development team practicing continuous delivery and agile processes.
• Mentor and coach engineers, creating development plans to increase their impact.
• Facilitate solution design and perform code peer reviews as the most senior engineer.
• Collaborate with Product teams to shape the development of ScriptRunner for Confluence Cloud.
• Handle hiring, onboarding, and priority setting for the product.
• Respond to product incidents and assist with support escalations.

Requirements

• Strong software development skills in one backend technology (Java, Groovy, Python) and one frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience collaborating with and coaching junior engineers.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and CI/CD implementation.
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or equivalent.
• Understanding of micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs.
• Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Atlassian Ecosystem.
• AWS Certification.
• Experience developing applications with serverless architecture.
• Plugin development experience.
