Financial Controller (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own financial reporting for international entities, including monthly P&L, Bhirify.globalce Sheet reviews, variance analysis, and audit readiness.
• Structure and manage relationships with local accounting firms by defining working models to ensure consistency with central reporting.
• Identify and drive concrete improvements in the monthly reporting cycle and automate financial processes.
• Collaborate with the Financial Data team to write controlling specifications for automation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is leveraged for strategic decision-making.
• Participate in the scaling of the finance team through hiring and onboarding.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and financial statements across multiple entities or geographies.
• Proven experience coordinating external accounting firms or overseeing multi-country financial reporting.
• Professional background in a top audit firm or a fast-paced scale-up.
• Fluent English proficiency; additional European languages are a strong plus.
• Must be legally eligible to work from France.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information to non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with insurance accounting or regulated financial entities.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or AI tools.
